In the final push towards the end of the year, we are delighted to say our production department has been remarkably busy.
We have welcomed several new customers to the McPherson family, as well as seen an increase in much of our existing client base.
Our Archive Storage and Scan On Demand has seen its usual sways one way then the other. While, Digitisation and Scanning has certainly seen an increase in the number of larger projects knocking on our door.
In light of this busy spell, we have decided to increase our opening times to ensure we meet the increase in demand.

During the year of 2017, we have certainly seen some changes and improvements within the company. We have secured some really exciting projects, had our name passed on to new clients from existing ones as well as welcomed back some clients who had chosen to try doing their scanning and storage needs in-house but quickly realised the cost implications. After all, Is the Photocopier really the answer to your Document Management needs?
In 2017, we saw our Jim Brown retiring after some 26 years with the company in a sales manager role. This led to our Steven McPherson moving from his production management role to a more Business Development and Client Liaison role. We also promoted our David Sawyers from production to cover the uplift / deliveries as well as working with Steven on a business development role. Gordon is still covering the northern areas of Scotland on a Sales role while Lynn is still managing the day to day admin side of the company. Within production, we have welcomed some new key team members as well as welcomed back some staff who moved away for a time.
As we move in to 2018, we have some exciting and sizable projects bouncing around the team. We are also looking to move to a more automated process within production which will ensure we can stay competitive in the ever changing world of document and records management. We are currently strengthening our Data Protection (ICO) systems and procedures to ensure we are GDPR compliant when the time comes. We will be discussing this is further detail with our clients in the coming months.
From all the team at McPhersons, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with a Happy, Prosperous and of course Healthy 2018.
Steven, Gordon, Lynn, Craig, David and all the production team at McPhersons.
